Bierwagen’s Pumpkin Patch

Bierwagen’s Pumpkin Patch in Chicago Park is a great place to visit in October.  The farm is open every day and has a good selection of big and small pumpkins.  The kids will enjoy the opportunity to run around the field, find their perfect pumpkin and then drag it back up the hill in a cart.  In addition to the pumpkin patch the farm stand with fresh apple cider, fruits and homemade goods is open 10am to 5pm.  Don’t forget to snap a photo while you’re there to enter the Bierwagen photo contest (we won a prize last year with one of our photos from this blog post).  Anyone got any great ideas on what to carve on their pumpkin?  We’re getting into the spirit of Halloween over here at the Inn, has anyone spotted our newest addition to the Halloween decorations?
