Mama Madrone’s Eco Emporium opened their doors at 307 Broad Street over the weekend. The retail shop, formerly known as Being Green, offers eco-friendly goods for the whole family and home. Earth friendly items include housewares, bedding, body care, clothing, fair trade gifts and accessories. Popular brands on sale include Blue Canoe Organic, Nomads Clothing, Indigenous Organic Fair Trade Clothing, Encanto Jewels, Omi and Coyuchi organic bedding. The new shop also includes art from Sally Peterson, Monica Hughes, Gareld Davis, Ray Kinman, Kathy Dotson, Jim Hass, Bob Beams, Jill Mahanna and Dimitra Milan. Open 7 days a week, Kristin and her team welcome folks to stop in and check out their new space. They did such a great job with the new store…I loved the old one but this one has so much more space and creative vibe to it….lovely!!!
