The Organic Grill
Have you been to The Organic Grill? The cafe is attached to California Organics in the Nevada City Seven Hills District and offers lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday 11am-9m and open for Sunday brunch 10am-3pm. The menu features 100% organic food and offers a nice selection of burgers, wraps, sandwiches and salads. I definitely recommend trying the curry coleslaw with whatever you order. Even though I eat at Cal. Org. mostly for a good vegetarian meal I love their hamburgers too. OH SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD

I am just in LOVE with the smoked salmon offered in the grill deli case!!! Smoked in house each piece has a unique different flavor. YUMMY
The deli counter has a lot of option, always a good option too.
California Organic’s Meal Deals are so great! They are my go-to when life doesn’t allow time for home cooking.

The Tomato Basil soup was so delicious, followed by a yummy Avocado Melt. Ummm Ummmm Goodness~

The curry slaw with cashews is a must have. I like to start off with a double shot of wheat grass juice. Love the bison burger. Generous portions of food. Great place to check out local art too.
My girlfriend really liked the bison burger too, should remember that next time. Yes, thanks for the reminder about the local art, always something fun up on the walls.
I don’t eat out much – but their food sure looks great! I’ve heard people really like those meal-deals too … destined to try it soon!

Wow! I am so glad we have facebook! There are a lot of wonderful places that I wouldn’t otherwise know of if it weren’t for Facebook. This one looks like a place I definitely want to check out. Looks like a perfect place to take my girls to!

my favorite is to get a to-go picnic and take it over to Ol’ Republic and enjoy it with a beer…my boys love the Avocado Melt and I love just about anything on the menu. Nice to have this healthy..friendly option in our cool little town.
The best Rueben in town is over at the Afternoon Deli. They can make it with tempeh, if that’s your thing, too!
