Nevada County Holiday Concerts

The holidays are a great time to get out and support the arts with numerous concerts, plays and performances. Nutcracker Season returns with two different productions in Nevada County. Clara and the Nutcracker by Holt Ballet Conservatory at the Miners Foundry is Thursday and Friday, December 10th and 11th (click here for photos from a previous performance). The Nevada County Nutcracker returns to the Don Baggett Theater for the weekend of December 18th-20th with evening and matinée performances. In addition to dance performances both Music in the Mountains and InConcert Sierra have holiday musical concerts. Music in the Mountains will have their Holiday Pops show at the Nevada County Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday December 12th and 13th, with a free children’s concert on Saturday morning. InConcert Sierra will showcase the Sierra Master Chorale and Orchestra at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday and Sunday, December 19th and 20th.
