Victorian Christmas
Nevada City Victorian Christmas helps bring out the holiday cheer. The street fair transforms downtown Nevada City into a big street fair with vendors, food trucks, hot mulled wine, holiday music and more. You can stock up on Christmas gifts, sit by the roaring fire with roasting chestnuts or catch up with old friends. Make sure to keep an eye out for the walking Christmas tree and Father Christmas. Stop by LeeAnn Brook Fine Art Gallery on the corner of Spring and South Pine Street and leave a wish on the Wish Tree. If you missed today because of the rain mark your calendar for Sunday December 13th and 20th (1:30-6pm) and Wednesday December 16th and 23rd (5-9pm). If you can’t find a parking spot in town, remember you can always park at the Nevada County Government Center and catch the shuttle. There’s a lot going on this month, if you don’t already follow my weekly events board, click here. And many, many, many thanks to all of those who have left some love on the InnSide Nevada City blog giveaway, it is such a treat to read all the comments. If you want to throw your name into the hat to win a prize worth $2300, click here. Holiday cheer, happy hanukkah and joy to the world.

Love your town! It looks so festive!!
Love it!
Missed today but I’m planning to get there this year!
Thanks for mentioning the Wish Tree! It’s very fun to watch the number of wishes on the tree grow!
Yeah, it’s Christmas in Nevada County.
You got a picture of my very sweet step-dad, David Ayala (top, right). He is blind and looks forward to playing his accordion at Victorian Christmas every year to make a little extra money. He can’t see you – so be sure and tell him “Hello”if you stop to listen…and put a little tip in his case if you feel so inclined!
