Autumn Color and Thanksgiving Weekend Activities

Fall in Nevada City is one of my favorite seasons.  I’ve taken lots of photos of our area, click here for my Flickr gallery, but today I’m sharing with you some photos by Amber Hill, of Violet Folklore.  There is such a range of colors and beauty in our area, especially during the autumn season.  Lots going on this time of the year, while the leaves may be dropping, there’s still lots of color around town, stop by the Outside Inn for a walking tour map or go join the Bear Yuba Land Trust Community Hike on Friday.  Or if you’re looking for some more indoor activities this week there’s the opening of Miracle on 34th Street, the Nevada City Artisan Festival or visit the Nevada County Fairgrounds Country Christmas Faire.  The winner of last week’s Booktown Books Carolines Coffee giveaway is Joleen.
