Spring time in Nevada CityIt’s that time of year when the flowers start to bloom and everywhere you turn around town there is a new pop of color.  These flowers were all found within a block of the Outside Inn, so come for a visit (still a few more weeks left of our winter special) and stop and smell the flowers.  Another great spring time activity is the wildflower walk along the Buttermilk Bend Trail at Bridgeport (click here for photos from last year).  The guided walks start mid-March on Saturdays and Sundays at the north Bridgeport parking lot.  And if you’re a fan of the historical bridge at the South Yuba State Park at Bridgeport consider taking part in the campaign to save the bridge, click here for additional information from SYRCL about the important issue.  Spring Time in Nevada City, California© 2014 InnSide Nevada City, © Photos by Erin Thiem

It seems that we got rain just in time to encourage the flowers to bloom. I love this time of year as everything flowers.
