Nevada City 4th of July Events

Who’s ready for 4th of July? Start the celebrations off tonight at the Nevada County Fairgrounds with the Music in the Mountains SummerFest finale Patriotic Pops, concert starts at 8pm. The 4th of July parade will be in Grass Valley this year, starting at 11am. The Nevada County Fourth of July parade is co-sponsored by the Greater Grass Valley and Nevada City Chambers of Commerce and the Grass Valley Downtown Association. You can arrive early in downtown Grass Valley and hear the Nevada County Concert Band performance at 10am or you go later and watch the fireworks at Nevada County Fairgrounds, gates open at 3pm and the entertainment starts at 4pm. Wishing everyone a safe holiday weekend. Maybe your plans include a BBQ with goodies from BriarPatch or a family swim in Scotts Flat Lake or the South Yuba River. We’ve been having a blast welcoming campers at the Inn Town Campground and celebrating our 1st birthday weekend.
