Sundari
Sundari, a new clothing store has opened up at 228 Commercial Street (next door to Crazy Horse and across the street from Three Forks). The boutique clothing shop carries both men and women’s fashion, plus jewelry, accessories and health care products. Cassandra, the owner of Sundari (which means beautiful woman), says that her ethically made clothes are all fair trade and 90% are made domestically. “I buy limited quantities of beautiful clothes that will be perfect for the yogi who wants to dress up and go out on Saturday night.” Sundari is opening 11-7 Tuesdays-Saturdays, 12-6 on Sundays. There are several new businesses in downtown Nevada City, so fun to go in and check them out, what’s your new favorite spot, post a comment and share.

Love to see a focus on domestic and fair-trade clothing, and of course I love yoga clothes that can transition to ‘going out’ clothes 🙂 Time to plan a visit (and of course, a shopping trip!)

I haven’t walked in to Sundari yet… looks dangerous by my terms (as in… I’ll love lots of things). I don’t know what my favorite new place is yet… love how town continues to evolve.
