Art OnSite, Deer Creek Tribute Trail

Nevada City hiking art trail photosThe Art OnSite Deer Creek Tribute Trail art exhibition makes its grand opening this weekend.  If you aren’t familiar with the downtown Nevada City walk, now is a great time to go explore, with 8 international artists showcased in the natural environment.  The Outside Inn has maps of the trail in our office or you can find it online. Please join the Art OnSite organization on Saturday, September 7th for the unveiling and celebration, starting at the Nevada City Farmers Market at 10:30am.  The project is the collaboration of a number of local and national organizations, click here for a full list.  You can read more interviews and background about Art OnSite at The Union, KNCO and Sierra Food Wine Art.  We’re confident the water cooler talk on Monday is going to be about Daniel Brickman’s golden poop pieces.  And the winner from the Pine Street Burgers giveaway is Marsha.Nevada City Art OnSite interactive art exhibition© 2013 InnSide Nevada City, Photos by Erin Thiem

I’m glad you clarified that is was golden poop and not something else that would have needed a xxx rating!

We are so lucky to have the Tribute Trail running through our neighborhood. It is a fabulous walk regardless of where you start. (Thanks for the pics of the golden poop – hadn’t seen that in person yet. Not really a fan of that concept but really love all of the art along the trail.)
